V★Silver: A grunge heart in a disco ball

“Ladyhawke’s magical euphoria colliding with Robyn’s heart-on-sleeve electro-pop and Cibo Matto’s art-pop sensibilities, straight out of a Girls episode circa 2007” - SPIN MAGAZINE

V★Silver is the New York–based shimmering alter ego of singer, songwriter, and record producer Vanessa Silberman. Her music fuses prism-colored alt-pop with pastel-glossed, blooming melodies filled with radiant synths, cinematic textures, and raw, honest lyrics that build tension through heart-forward emotion.

Her debut single, “Chasing Magic,” marked the launch of the project, a heart-charged pop gem crafted for anyone who believes in chasing the unseen. Self-produced and co-produced/mixed by Grammy-nominated mixer and engineer Justin Hergett (FINNEAS, Lady Gaga, Beyoncé, Shiny Toy Guns), the track is a glowing entry point into a world of longing, love, and transformation.

On her second single, “Truth Hurts Like Hell,” Silberman transforms heartbreak into a shimmering pop anthem. With sharp, self-produced production and lyrics that cut deep, she turns pain into something catchy, fun, and full of edge — without ever losing the light.

On her third self-produced single, “Fearless,” Silberman embraces the freedom to be yourself and love whoever you want. The song transforms the struggle of acceptance as an LGBTQ individual into a message of courage, self-expression, and love without boundaries. It’s about choosing to be who you are, loving who you choose, and opening people’s minds in the process.

These songs open Side A of her upcoming project — two EPs, The Cost of Light and Everything I Couldn’t Say, which together form a full album exploring dual truths: light and shadow, empowerment and vulnerability, shimmer and bare-souled honesty.

Side A: The Cost of Light reflects the brighter, pop-facing side — exploring themes of empowerment, courage, beauty, ambition, and emotional connection, while wrestling with the sacrifices required to evolve and live fully in the light.

Side B: Everything I Couldn’t Say turns inward — revealing raw, alt-acoustic confessions of truth, emotional release, and quiet bravery.

V★Silver’s world is a mirror of contrasts, light and shadow, shimmer and soul, made for sun-kissed dreamers and tender spirits chasing hope, healing, and the next version of themselves.
